Welcome
Welcome to the home page for the Wheeling Serra Club. Our organization is a member of Serra International, which exists to foster and promote vocations to the Catholic priesthood and religious life, and to encourage its members to fulfill their own Christian vocations to service.

Serra International was founded in 1935, and named in honor of Blessed Father Junipero Serra, the 18th century Franciscan missionary who founded many missions. The Wheeling Serra Club was founded in 1951. For more information on Blessed Junipero Serra click here.

Today, there are more than 800 Serra Clubs in 37 countries with a total membership of more than 20,000 laymen, laywomen and permanent deacons. There are over 11,500 Serrans in 327 Serra Clubs in the United States. Serra International, with headquarters located in Chicago, links Serra Clubs around the world.
