 The Wheeling Serra Club is the primary presence of Serra International in the local community. Our club meets on the first and third Friday of each month at noon at the Wheeling Civic Center. Most often we have prayer and a meal, followed by a guest speaker. Many of our speakers are priests, sisters and deacons, who grace us by sharing the story of their call to serve Our Lord. Some meetings include a full Mass.
The Wheeling Serra Club works closely with the Most Rev. Michael J. Bransfield, bishop of the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston, and Diocesan Vocation Director Rev. Paul Hudock, to foster and promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
